NSFW: Watch the long lost love-scene from Clive Barker’s Nightbreed

It has long been thought the love scene between Peloquin and Shuna Sassi in Clive Barker’s NIGHBREED was lost to the sands of time, like the director’s cut of JASON GOES TO HELL. The scene wasn’t even included in the Director’s Cut which was released in 2014.

But we can now rejoice as some YouTube user going by the clever name of Aaron Boone (which is the main character’s name in NIGHTBREED) has managed to cut together the lost scene from all sorts of different places.

Here’s what the video’s description says:

Contrary to what has been said about this scene, it actually WAS in the screenplay and was probably cut for pure pacing reasons. I cut this together using bits and pieces found on the ‘Tribes Of The Moon’ documentary found on the Director’s Cut DVD of Nightbreed. I understand there was no synch sound for a lot of the film footage, so I’ve just played some appropriate soundtrack music underneath. However, here is the scene as written in the final draft of the screenplay, which can be found easily through a quick google search.

Now you can watch the lost scene below, but I warn you it is NSFW (monster boobs).

That said, if you’re not at work, enjoy! The clip only runs a minute, or so, but I think that’s all we really need to see of this particular “love scene.” Unless, of course, this is your kind of thing… In which case, I’m sorry the clip isn’t much longer.

NIGHTBREED synopsis:

An unstable mental patient who is falsely led to believe by his doctor that he is a serial killer. Tracked down by the police, his doctor, and his girlfriend Lori, Boone eventually finds refuge in an abandoned cemetery called Midian among a “tribe” of monsters and outcasts known as the “Nightbreed” where they hide from humanity.

NIGHTBREED was written and directed by Clive Barker, based on his 1988 novella Cabal, and stars Craig Sheffer, Anne Bobby, David Cronenberg, Charles Haid, Hugh Quarshie, and Doug Bradley.
