Ode to Superheroes

JoBloJoBlo

I hear from several my friends (the one who don’t go out on Saturday nights!) that the post-strike SNL has been sharp and witty. I admittedly don’t watch SNL as much as I used to since Saturday nights are ‘getting drunk and going to bars and staring at girls but not talking to them because you’re crippled by your low self-esteem’ nights, but I do like the cast. People like Bill Hader and Fred Armisen and Amy Poehler are all likeable, memorable and funny. But everyone knows whenever an SNL digital short is included in the program, it’s bound to be a standout moment. This week, was one such week, and although it’s no ‘Dick in a Box’, this ode to comic book super-heroism is terrific, and vintage Lonely Island.
