Ever since Sam Raimi brutally bounced buddy Bruce Campbell around a cabin in THE EVIL DEAD, the director has often found a place for his friend in subsequent movies and TV projects.
So it’s no great surprise that Campbell will pop up somewhere over the rainbow for Raimi’s OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL, as he tweets: “I. Am. In. Oz. Sam Raimi refuses to tell me what character I will portray. Just know that the role is PIVOTAL. “
The Chin similarly described his SPIDER-MAN trilogy appearances (announcer, snooty usher, maitre d’). Feel free to make guesses as to who or what he might play during his visit to Oz.

Campbell is also currently helping produce the entirely unnecessary remake of EVIL DEAD, in which he’ll also appear in an unknown capacity.
