The story is based on a comic book which features on smokin’ hot U.S. Marshall as she attempts to track down and catch a killer in Antarctica (the continents first killer). The catch? She only has three days to do it in, because after three days Antarctica will plunge into winter and she’ll be stranded there… with the killer… until Spring arrives. I guess helicopters and planes can’t fly there in the winter, or at night or something…
O’Loughlin is set to star as one of the chopper pilots that helps Beckinsale get around. The flick sounds pretty damn cool, and anything that stars Beckinsale is A-OK in my book. My only problem with this would be that she’ll be under 15 layers of clothing the entire time… maybe they should change the name to SANDOUT, and base the whole thing on a tropical island where bikinis and nudity are the only requirements by the natives to be there. Hey… it could happen!
WHITEOUT is set to hit theaters sometime next year, and don’t forget to catch Beckinsale alongside Luke Wilson in the creepy looking VACANCY, which arrives in theaters April 13th.
