And Amazon is already accepting pre-orders at THIS LINK! So if you want to include the physical media version of this one in your Halloween horror marathons, head over there and put in your pre-order.

Directed by William Brent Bell from a screenplay by David Coggeshall, Orphan: First Kill has the following synopsis:

Esther’s terrifying saga continues in this thrilling prequel to the original and shocking horror hit, Orphan. After orchestrating a brilliant escape from an Estonian psychiatric facility, Esther travels to America by impersonating the missing daughter of a wealthy family. Yet, an unexpected twist arises that pits her against a mother who will protect her family from the murderous “child” at any cost.

Isabelle Fuhrman reprises the role of Leena Klammer / Esther, an adult serial killer from Estonia who was able to pass herself off as a 9 year old kid in the first Orphan. Looking 9 was easy for Fuhrman at the time because she was a child when she made that movie… but now she’s an adult, and the filmmakers had to try to figure out how to make her look like a kid again. Fuhrman is joined in the cast by Julia Stiles, Rossif Sutherland, Matthew Finlan, and Hiro Kanagawa.

Co-financed by eOne and Dark Castle, Orphan: First Kill was produced by James Tomlinson, with Dark Castle Entertainment’s Alex Mace, Hal Sadoff, and Ethan Erwin. Original Orphan screenwriter David Leslie Johnson served as executive producer alongside Daryl Katz, Chloe Katz, Paul Marcaccio, Victor Moyers and Kyle Irving. Kelly Gallagher and Robert Bell co-produced, with Jen Gorton and Josie Liang overseeing for eOne. Fuhrman also has an associate producer credit.
