Screen Daily reports that Rodar Y Rodar, the production company behind J.A. Bayona’s EL ORFANATO (THE ORPHANAGE), is gearing up for another ghost story, this one called CICATRISES (SCARS).
The flick is about a group of university students, led by a girl named Angela, who go to an abandoned village to study reported supernatural occurrences. Soon, they encounter an evil spirit that harasses them incessantly, but can only be seen by Angela’s sister, Diane.
I like the sound of this sucker. Any village haunted by an evil spectre is one I want to visit.
SCARS will be helmed by Sergi Vizcaino from a screenplay by Daniel Padro.
