Jared Padalecki has been cast as Thomas Kinkade in the upcoming THE CHRISTMAS COTTAGE for Lionsgate. The film will look at the life of Thomas Kinkade, one of America’s most collected artists. It’s set to be the first of three in a series which will each look at different paintings and subsequently, different aspects of Kinkade’s life, with Padalecki to star in each.
As reported earlier, Peter O’Toole is set to play Glen Wessler in the film, one of Kinkade’s mentors.
I have absolutely no idea who Jared Padalecki is, and a look at his past credits makes that understandable since I’m neither a fan of Olsen twin movies or a sixteen year old girl. Padalecki has been seen previously in HOUSE OF WAX, NEW YORK MINUTE and CRY WOLF.
