Well now we’ve finally got an idea of what to expect with PAINTBALL thanks to the teaser trailer! The trailer has been making the rounds on the net today and can be found below. It’s in Spanish and is every bit a teaser, but it’s still not half bad. We get some first person stalking goodness to get us ready for this one. So what says you?
So far I’m not stoked for PAINTBALL but I’m not hating it. It’s just there. Not really original but might actually be decent, that’s what I’m leaning on. Though with the recent success of several international horror flicks, if PAINTBALL doesn’t wow it might get lost in the shuffle. The film follows a group of young workaholics looking to have an extreme paintball adventure but end up having to defend their lives against unknown enemies.
Seems like it’s going along the ‘slasher’ lines but not really relying on it’s ‘horror’ factor. Shame. PAINTBALL comes from director Daniel Benmayor with a script from Mario Schoendorff. It stars Brendan Mckey, Robert Maskell, Patrick Regis, Jennifer Matter, Peter Vives, Claudia Bassols, Anna Casas, and Iaione Pérez.
