I was initially buying what PANDORUM was selling, but now I’m not too sure. The posters are cool and all, but the latest trailer (posted below) makes it look like a broke-ass EVENT HORIZON. That, my friends, is not what you want from a sci-fi movie. (Maybe it’s because Paul W.S. Anderson is the producer?)
In fairly unexciting, and unsurprising, news – PANDORUM has been hit with an R rating by the MPAA for strong horror violence and language. That’s cool, but I could have used some nudity. Maybe some drug use. But I guess I can take care of all that myself in the theater…
Christian Alvert’s PANDORUM opens on SEPTEMBER 18th, the same date as JENNIFER’S BODY. I’ve got to go with JEN’S BODY at the moment, if only because… well, I think that’s pretty damn obvious.
