Wow, there’s still a big screen version of BAYWATCH on the way? Thought this one was dead in the water.
It lives! Now it looks like Paramount is wanting Justin Timberlake to take the lead. Will he be channeling the Hoff? If Timberlake signs on he will, “play a disgraced former Olympic swimmer who tries out for the Baywatch crew.”
They’ve been trying to get this one off the ground for awhile. It’s hard to be so cynical about it since I had the same feelings about 21 JUMP STREET then the movie totally redeemed itself. I was surprised that it was so hilarious. So will be BAYWATCH be the same? If they get the right people on it then it has a decent chance.
There are roles for David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, however, they will not be cameos of the roles they once played.
