Paranormal Activity producer shopping The Houses October Built at Cannes

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY and INSIDIOUS producer Steven Schneider's latest found-footage horror film, THE HOUSES OCTOBER BUILT, will be shopped to international buyers at the upcoming Cannes Film Market by Brian O'Shea's The Exchange, according to The Wrap who explains that the film examines the Halloween Haunted House phenomenon that draws over 30 million visitors every October. Lurking beneath the surface of spooky fun, the film aims to shed light on the dark world of haunting.

Zack Andrews and Bobby Roe directs the movie, which New Regency produced with Schneider.

O'Shea says of the film:

“Good things come in pairs: The Exchange is delighted to acquire a second film from Steven Schneider. ‘The Houses October Built’ is a terrifying film, the best found-footage horror film since ‘Paranormal Activity’ terrified movie audiences.”

We'll keep you posted on sales and release dates for THE HOUSES OCTOBER BUILT as we hear it.
