The last we heard about PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2 Paramount were eyeing a trio of directors for the project including Brian De Palma. Now no deals have been made but we do have some rumblings in the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2 department from… one of it’s stars?
You see MTV recently caught up with PARANORMAL ACTIVITY star Micah Sloat at the Independent Spirit Awards and asked the actor about PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2:
“All I can tell you is I’m very excited for the project, it’s really cool, it’s gonna be really interesting and it’s not gonna suck, which most horror sequels… would. This is gonna be good… Well we have money now, but we’re staying true to the heart of the movie, to the spirit of it, to the vision. That’s all I can say.”
Alright well that’s interesting. You can check out the whole video interview below. So Sloat is involved with PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2? Spoiler Alert. Didn’t really see that one coming considering the first film’s ending. Or perhaps they’re going with the original ending where we have no idea what happened to Micah? Does this mean Katie Featherston (below) will also be returning? Who knows.
PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2 doesn’t even have a director yet and it’s already got an October 22nd release date pegged. Uh-oh. Hopefully we get some juciy PARANORMAL updates soon! As always, we’ll keep you updated!
