The film is STOKER, a project written by Fox’s “Prison Break” star Wentworth Miller (going under the pseudonym ‘Ted Foulke’). That was reported back in July. Now, according to LA Times’ 24 Frames, sources are indicating that Chan-wook is in talks to direct the Hitchcockian tale, “a dramatic thriller about a young woman whose eccentric uncle comes back into her life after the death of her father.”
Currently, Carrey Mulligan (THE GREAT GATSBY, NEVER LET ME GO) is attached to star in the film as the young woman, as is Jodie Foster (GOD OF CARNAGE, THE BEAVER) in an undisclosed role. The uncle is still yet to be cast.
