Chan-wook Park (OLDBOY) is indubitably at the forefront of international cinema. He’s seriously one of a handful of directors whose next project true cinephiles go out of their way to see. And with no exception, his new vampire flick THIRST promises to be a dazzling array of action and violence the bulk of his flicks are known for.
Set to land on shelves November 17th, the South Korean vampire tale sees a priest getting morphed into a bloodsucker after a volunteered medical experiment goes awry. As he comes to grips with his new identity, he becomes embroiled in an affair with his best friend’s wife whom he uses as a companion in a depraved binge through the seven deadly sins.
Universal Home Entertainment will release the title. No word on extras or special features at this point. More when we know it!
