Gary C. Warren, the 30-something St. Louis native has spent the better part of this decade as a cinematic jack of all trades. He’s produced, written, directed, acted, edited, even helmed a barrage of miscellaneous production duties.
And now the man is poised to release his debut feature film, a dark horror/comedy entitled THE PATH OF TORMENT (which he wrote as well). The Synopsis: Ken and Ellen have just moved into a new home in the suburbs. On the day of their housewarming party, they invite two men dressed as Mormon Missionaries into their home. Unfortunately for them, the men are not who they appear to be. Part torture horror and part dark comedy, THE PATH OF TORMENT is something no one will forget.
The flick was shown a couple of weeks ago at Fright Night Film Festival and a few days ago at Horrific Film Fest, yet has no specific U.S. release date as of now. You’ll know more when we do, but until then, cop a gander at a grip of stills from the film below.
