People will Burst!

Oh sheeyit! I just caught wind of a soon-to-be-made (hopefully) horror flick that I think has a shot at really blowing up our genre! In a great way! Haven’t you always thought that someone should make a really good movie about people exploding? Well, even if you haven’t, I’m happy as hell that Mr. Sam Raimi did! My friends, please prepare yourselves for BURST!

That’s right! Can you believe it?! And the plot is basically what you’d expect (and want). Look: A strange unexplained phenomena comes about where people simply explode. A group of people must band together to find out what is causing it before they all BURST!

I don’t see how that could not be a good time! It sounds like what THE HAPPENING should have been. Anyways, Mr. Raimi won’t be directing the flick (sorry to sort of burst your bubble), but he will be involved, I’m guessing, on the producing end. The director hired for the job is Daniel Calparsoro. I hope he knows his blood and guts. As of now there are no cast members listed. I’ll keep an eye out in case any spontaneously pop up.
