Producer Zach Green sent us a missive today, one regarding his new indie thriller FAMILIAR. The flick, for which we have the first official poster, comes from writer/director Richard Powell. As you can see, our partners in grime, Fangoria, added quite the plaudit. Hopefully the flick lives up to its reputation.
Speaking of, here’s the synopsis for the flick:
Through a series of tragic events a middle aged man grows to suspect the negative impulses plaguing his mind may not be his own.
Sound FAMILIAR? Muah ha ha…that’s just sad.
Anyway, there aren’t many more details regarding the flick. We do know cinematography & co-producer Michael Jari Davidson shot on RED Digital Cinema, with special FX for the film provided by Ryan Louagie, Carlos Henriques & Steven Dawley (THE BUTCHER SHOP). Fatal Pictures produces.
