Our good German buddies over at
BlairWitch.de dropped us a line today with a brand new photo from the upcoming vampire flick PEFECT CREATURE, and so far this little movie’s lookin’ pretty sweet.
Oh wait- PERFECT CREATURE? What the hell is that? Well, according to the ever reliable
IMDB:
Set during the 1960s in an alternate New Zealand known as Nuovo Zelandia, PERFECT CREATURE imagines a world where vampires and humans peacefully co-exist, with the bloodsuckers the next step in human evolution. This delicate balance looks to be destroyed when an influenza epidemic begins to sweep the human population and one vampire turns to preying on humans. The church sends out Silus to catch the renegade vampire, Edgar. Silus joins forces with a human police captain, and discovers that Edgar harbors dark secrets.
Wow! I mean, where the hell have I been? I’ve NEVER heard of this movie! And it’s not like it’s a cast of nobodies! We got Dougray Scott (
DARK WATER) and Saffron Burrows (DEEP BLUE SEA) in the house for this ride!
So enough about the lack of hype for this flick- so fat this puppy sounds like the shiznit- a mix between
BLADE and
UNDERWORLD, wrapped into one fun and mind-f*cked ride.
