A frantic, intense, and intriguing trailer has finally surfaced for the much-discussed After Dark film PERKINS’ 14. The film was basically “created” by visitors to Massify.com, who selected the story, actors, poster etc. by way of voting. So essentially, this is a fan-made flick, although it was directed by vet Craig Singer (DARK RIDE). If it sucks, well, it’s your fault. (At least, that’ll be the company line if it does suck.)
Robert Perkins builds an army of 14 people brainwashed through cult-like methods to protect him from his parents’ killers. When Perkins is imprisoned, the police unwittingly unleash his followers on a small town and they’ve only got one thing on their mind: “Kill for Mr. Perkins.”
PERKINS’ 14 stars Patrick O’Kane, Shayla Beesley, Mihaela Mihut, Michale Graves, Gregory O’Connor, Katherine Pawlak, Richard Brake, Trey Farley, and Craig Robert Young… It hits theaters, along with the other After Dark Horrorfest flicks, on JANUARY 9th.
