Phantasm on the big screen

I must admit that I only recently
saw this film, but instantly fell in love with it. I actually enjoyed it so much
that I’m considering driving to Toronto to see it. That’s right,

PHANTASM
will be hitting the big screen once again thanks to our
friends at Rue Morgue and Anchor Bay Entertainment.

On Thursday February 15th at
9:30p.m., Don Coscarelli’s

PHANTASM
will be playing at the Bloor Cinema (506 Bloor Street west)
in Toronto, Canada! There will also be door prizes, a Evangelical Satanic faith
healing with Pastor Morgan Wilkes and Victor Marshall, and coolest of all; a Q&A
session with the ice-cream man himself

Reggie Bannister!

For those not entirely up to date
with classic horror,
PHANTASM
is about a funeral home where strange
things seem to happen. The funeral home is run by ‘The Tall Man’, who has unholy
strength, and is infested with crazy hooded demons. A young boy named Jody
begins to snoop around the home, only to bring trouble to him and his brother
Mike.

This is a great opportunity for
those of you, like me, who weren’t around in 1979 when the film was originally
released. So if you happen to be in the Toronto area on the 15th of February
make sure to check out
PHANTASM
.
