Pierce Brosnan is a badass again in first pic from spy flick November Man

Former James Bond Pierce Brosnan has had a relatively steady career since handing over the keys to the 007 role to Daniel Craig, but hasn't attempted to relive those days in other films…until now. In NOVEMBER MAN, Brosnan plays Peter Devereaux, an ex-CIA operative made famous in a series of books by late author Bill Granger. Joining Brosnan in the film adaptation is fellow Bond alum Olga Kuryleno, Will Patton, and Luke Bracey with veteran director Roger Donaldson (NO WAY OUT, THE BANK JOB, THE GETAWAY) at the helm. The adaptation has taken a while to get off the ground, but is now in post-production and today we have our first look at Brosnan as the titular character, looking as badass as ever.

Man with gun + Fiery car crash behind him = badass:

Here's the synopsis:

An ex-CIA operative is brought back in on a very personal mission and finds himself pitted against his former pupil in a deadly game involving high level CIA officials and the Russian president-elect.

I always dug Brosnan's Bond and wish he would've gotten a better send off than DIE ANOTHER DAY. However, with the franchise potential of this series, Brosnan could find himself back in the saddle, joining the ranks of late aged action heroes like Liam Neeson and Kevin Costner.

NOVEMBER MAN is currently in post-production. A late 2014 release is expected.
