Neon has let an official trailer for Pig starring Nicolas Cage out of the pen.
In Pig, a truffle hunter who lives alone in the Oregonian wilderness must return to his past in Portland in search of his beloved foraging pig after she is kidnapped.
Here's the deal, folks. We don't deserve Nicolas Cage. In just the past couple of years, he's gifted us with films like Mandy, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Color Out of Space, Willy's Wonderland, and now Pig. Each of these aforementioned projects gives Cage the tools to take fans on a wild ride through his beautiful brain, where so many memorable and off-the-wall performances live and thrive. Coming across like a soft-spoken John Wick, I would not want to be anywhere near Cage's truffle hunter once he decides to huff and puff and blow down the houses of his enemies.
Directed and co-written by Michael Sarnoski with Vanessa Block, Pig stars Nicolas Cage and Alex Wolff and Adam Arkin, Nina Belforte, and Gretchen Corbett. The film is produced by Cage, Steve Tisch, Dori Rath, Joseph Restaino, David Carrico, Adam Paulsen, Simitra Tsingou, Thomas Benski, Ben Giladi, and Vanessa Block.
Pig will search for truffles in theaters beginning on July 16, 2021.
