PIRANHA 3-D is really putting together some cast! Names already announced include Jerry O’Connell, Jessica Szohr (above), Elsabeth Shue, Richard Dreyfuss, Ving Rhames, Adam Scott, and Dina Meyer. Those are some top names people and they’re all thrown together in a gorey piranha adventure brought to us by the twisted mind of Alex Aja. If you’re a fan of the genre then chances are you’re already stoked about PIRANHA 3-D, if only for this cast! Well today we’ve got yet another reason for you to be excited about this 3-D adventure.
Someone dropped word to the guys over at Dread Central that Christopher Lloyd (above) is the newest face joining the PIRANHA 3-D crowd! Christopher Lloyd!? Where the hell did that come from? I have no idea but I’m stoked! And get this… Lloyd will be playing ‘Goodman,’ some kind of scientist/piranha expert! Might we be seeing a bit of Doc Brown resurrected? I sure hope so!
PIRANHA 3-D started shooting yesterday in Arizona and is pegged for release on March 19, 2010. Keep it here for updates as we hear them!
