What’s more unsettling than the chick with the bizarre eye above? How about the synopsis–check it: An American family visiting their Irish roots accidentally stumbles on a horde of bloodthirsty, diseased, deformed and decidedly homicidal mutant children.
Talk about a crappy vacation! It’s as if they went with the crazy pack of kids from HOSTEL and took it the next level, adding a sick and demented twist to the whole thing. Hey, I can dig it! Sounds like a flippin’ blast to me!
PLAGUE TOWN, starring Josslyn DeCrosta, Erica Rhodes, and David Lombard, is set to premiere at this year’s Cannes on May 21st, with a theatrical release date shorltly thereafter, although a specific date has not been set yet.
