Any fans of Ed Wood’s original PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE out there? To be honest, I’ve never seen the flick, but I have seen Tim Burton’s ED WOOD. Regardless, were you guys aware that an apparent remake is in the works called PLAN 9? Yup, someone is remaking the (allegedly) worst film ever made. That actually sounds a little harsh and considering the manner with which horror remakes usually get handled today, we could be in for a treat.
To add some further fromage to this cheese-tastic report, it appears that we will all be getting a brand new teaser trailer for the remake next week on 9/9/09. The film isn’t finished shooting yet, but the trailer is all set. The filmmakers are pleased to announce that they are shooting on super cool Super 35mm (just like the teaser).
