Big surprise! Just as our very own Mr. Pacheco exhorted the onslaught of casting info regarding Scott Stewart’s PRIEST, a pair of big time genre-names has just been thrown into the fray.
According to Stewart’s own Twitter account, screen-vets Christopher Plummer (THE SPIRAL STAIRCASE, DRACULA 2000) and Brad Dourif (CHILD’S PLAY, HALLOWEEN II) have been added to the already impressive (and growing) cast, which I’m sure you know, includes Paul Bettany, Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q, Karl Urban, Stephen Moyer, Lily Collins and the recently added Madchen Amick.
Set to bless theaters on August 13, 2010 – PRIEST is set in a world of ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampire. It follows a warrior priest (Bettany) who turns against the church to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece.
Now if I can only get Lily Collins (below) to ravage my bed. What, she’s 20!
