What’s cooler than Edgar Allen Poe being adapted for the big screen? How’s about having FX ninja Ray Harryhausen (CLASH OF THE TITANS) putting them on in stop-motion-animation style? Oh, it will be sweet indeed!
While chatting to the press at FANTASIA, Harryhausen mentioned that his company (with partner Arnold R. Kunert) is working on the short ‘mini-movies’, which will use stop-motion-animation characters with computer generated backgrounds. Very cool stuff here, folks.
First on the list? THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM is currently in production. No word on when they plan on releasing these shorts, but we’ll keep you posted every step of the way.
