I’ve been hearing raves about Jeffrey Combs’ Edgar Allen Poe performance for months now; as I don’t live in L.A., I have not gotten a chance to check it out – but now that it’s moving to the East Coast, I might just have to take a look at NEVERMORE.
According to the L.A. Times, the play, based on the life of the great poet and author, will move to Baltimore in January for a special two night performance at the Westminster Hall, which also happens to be the site of Poe’s grave. Performances of the play, which was written by Dennis Paoli, will take place Jan. 23 and 24, and will be co-presented by the Edgar Allan Poe House.
Damn cool, wouldn’t you say? Apparently plans are underway to also bring the play to Chicago, though no dates have yet been announced. To read the L.A. Times article in full, click right HERE.
