Polk County swag

We got a little heads up this morning about a independent horror flick called POLK COUNTY, and when I say ‘horror flick,’ I mean that ‘s what they tell me. Based on the new posters we have a chance to check out, and the official synopsis, I don’t see horror flick at all. But it’s got to be there somewhere, right?

Written and directed by Ken Vathauer, POLK COUNTY goes a little something like this: “Polk County” is a full length movie taking place in a small American town
being torn apart by corruption and bloodshed. Its only chance of survival lies in the hands of the town’s locals and a burntout sheriff, who has his own personal demons to confront.

There’s horror in that? They swear it is, and after heading over to the film’s OFFICIAL SITE, I can see some horrifying shit going on in some of the film’s pics. Do I smell some TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE-ness going on here? If there’s cannibal redneck hillbilly’s in this thing, it might be fun after all.

The bottom line? POLK COUNTY could be dope as hell or lame as f*ck, it could be worth your time or simply a waste of efforts. But only time will tell at this point. Hit up the OFFICIAL SITE for other cool shit too, like pics, cast, and an upcoming trailer that isn’t quite ready for its debut.
