Possible details on the next Suicide Squad trailer

The first teaser trailer for SUICIDE SQUAD was exactly that, although if Heroic Hollywood is to be believed, we'll get our next taste come Superbowl time. Their report not only details when we'll see it, but also includes a complete breakdown of what to expect. Suffice it to say that if you'd rather keep it a surprise, don't read on!

As HH claims, this new trailer will be set to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. You could certainly do a lot worse! The trailer opens with an extended look at Belle Reve Penitentiary as we see the living conditions of our Squad. It's not long before Amanda Waller throws out the Task Force X protocol and we see our leads breaking out of prison. Rick Flagg then reads of a very 'matter-of-fact' list of each person and their "superpower" as we see them in action ("Deadshot, uhh, shoots people."). What follows is plenty of action shots including some gun business from both Deadshot and Rick Flagg, Enchantress and the conjuring of CG beasties as well as Killer Croc providing some muscle.

If you're wondering where the Joker is, he makes an appearance, most notably surrounded by plenty of weapons and diving into a chemical tank to pull out Harley Quinn. Harley gets the last line though, as Flagg looks at the behavior of said Squad and questions what the hell is wrong with them. Quinn simply states, "We're bad guys. It's what we do."

Sounds pretty legit if you ask me, although we'll have to wait a couple of months to see if it comes to fruition. In that time, scenes may change or it may be scrapped altogether. One thing that's for sure is that this sucker will be making the rounds come BATMAN V SUPERMAN to get audiences ready for the "next" chapter in the new DCU. It's almost time to see if DC can go toe-to-toe with Marvel in the film universe!

SUICIDE SQUAD hits theaters on August 5, 2016.
