I can never get enough of writer-directors talking about their craft, which is why FEARnet’s upcoming show “POST MORTEM with Mick Garris” intrigues me so. Each 5-minute webisode will feature Garris and an esteemed guest facing off in a freewheeling dialogue to discuss the state of the genre film industry from the inside out.

In the new series, Garris – one of the sci- fi and horror genre’s favorite producers, writers and directors and the creator of such chilling series as the award-winning anthology Masters of Horror — goes one-on-one with the biggest names in horror for provocative and insightful conversations. The series will take fans further into the creative minds behind horror’s greatest projects than anything before, making this must-see programming for any true film aficionado. Each episode will feature Garris and one genre icon – unfiltered, uncensored and unscripted.
Scheduled guests include Robert Englund, John Carpenter, Tobe Hooper and Wes Craven. The show premieres on FEARnet in February.
