Some have said that POSTAL may end up making you a fan of director Uwe Boll… or it may make you hate his guts. Either way, it’s comin’ at ya soon, and there’s a new poster for it out there to prove it.
For a movie that’s supposed to take it to the limit, to push the envelope so far over that it ventures into the realm of tasteless trash, this poster is quite… boring. Actually, it screams of the crappy parody posters we’ve seen for shite like EPIC MOVIE and DATE MOVIE, except there’s nothing real funny going on here (though, come to think of it, there wasn’t anything funny going on in those other posters either). As it looks like it’s going for the ‘comedy’ angle, rather than as an over-the-top violence parade, then I guess it makes sense for taking on this ‘comedic’ type of poster. But it doesn’t make it from sucking any less.
