Only once before have we addressed J.A. Steel’s low budget creature feature DENIZEN, and it was way back in September of 2008. That’s quite a wait to finally rock some footage for the action-horror outing, but hey my friends, the day has finally come. Check out a cool new teaser trailer for the film below!
Written by and starring Steel herself, DENIZEN also stars Julie Lisandro, Ben Bayless, Jessica M. Bair, Diane Sullivan, Glen Jensen, Jody Mullins, Jennifer Lea Turner, Joy Robinson, Drew Nixon, and Janet Mayson.
The synopsis is an age old one: Peace gets shattered in a small town, when suddenly a mysterious creature starts to leave a bloody trail. The last hope for the residents to fight the terror and prevent the destruction by military forces rests on the courage and the resourcefulness of a small group of scientists.
Tried and true I suppose, let’s just hope this sucka has a bit more bite than the plotline does. And judging by those f*cuked up teeth in the teaser, it very well has a chance.
DENIZEN holds no concrete release date as of yet, but looks slated to screen at Croatia’s Trash Film Festival in September of this year.
