Production Weekly, they of the informative tweet, has announced on its Twitter page that PREDATORS will go into production on AUGUST 28th in Austin Texas, at Robert Rodriguez’s Troublemaker Studios.
In PREDATORS, a group of humans will find themselves stranded on a planet home to Predators and must survive the horrors they encounter. No cast has been announced yet, but I gather we’ll be hearing some names dropped soon. (Danny Trejo..?)
VACANCY director Nimrod Antal is at the helm, working from a screenplay by Alex Litvak and Michael Finch (although Rodriguez came up with the idea and is closely watching the development of the story). The flick opens on July 7, 2010.
