So we all know that earlier this year, Hollywood Pictures (a friggin’ Disney company if you can believe that) pulled a most bizarre marketing stunt with PRIMEVAL , when they coyly pretended that the movie was about the world’s most notorious serial killer. The ads weren’t very clear what or who this serial killer was – until we all found out with eye-rolling results that it was a crocodile they were talking about. The movie was hastily released, made approximately $68, and slithered into movie obscurity.
But that’s what DVDs are for, so we can check out these flicks that – let’s just say – aren’t in immediate need of our $10 (c’mon, it’s expensive to go to the friggin’ movies!) So PRIMEVAL is getting released today, and we’re presenting you with a brief featurette about Gustav, that serial-killer croc. Orlando Jones explains to us just what made Gustav such a bastard with a taste for blood, and it’s actually pretty interesting. Also, to my shock, there are some shots of the fake Gustav in action, and I must say, they don’t look bad at all.
