Dimension just issued a presser noting how John Gulager’s PIRANHA 3DD has officially gotten underway, with principal photography currently taking place in Wilmington, North Carolina. As you know, instead of a spring break gala, the new bloodbath will take place at a popular water park. Check it…
The sequel continues down the path of “ridiculous” as the piranha this time make their way into swimming pools, pipes, plumbing and such at a newly opened water park named “Wilderness Waters”! The race is on to save the town from these flesh-eating creatures that are leaving a bloodbath in their wake.
In the same missive, the water park in question seems to be called “The Big Wet Water Park”, not “Wilderness Waters.” Either way, I can’t wait to see how over-the-top-awesome the FEAST director will continue the series.
Sinking its teeth in theatergoers November 23rd, PIRANHA 3DD will star Danielle Panabaker (below), Matt Bush, Chris Zylka, David Koechner, Meagan Tandy, Paul James Jordan, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Hector Jimenez, Adrian Martinez, Clu Gulager and more cast members to be announced soon.
