Time will tell if Josh Schwartz’s Halloween comedy FUN SIZE will really be AITH appropriate, or if it’s simply counterprogramming for the teeny-bopper crowd. At this stage however, why not run with it?!?
We first introduced you to FUN SIZE back in January, but since then the news broke that Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice (below) had been cast as the female lead. Now, according to Variety, “Project X” star Thomas Mann (right) has been added to the cast.
Word is Mann will play Roosevelt, the star of his school’s debate team who is in love with Justice’s character, Wren. The son of two gay women, he’s terrified of breaking the rules, but decides to throw caution to the wind and help Wren out when she needs him to help find her younger brother on Halloween.
FUN SIZE centers on a sarcastic teenage girl who is forced to take her little brother trick-or-treating on Halloween, then loses him and must find him before their mother finds out. It marks the feature debut of Josh Schwartz, who created Ammon’s favorite shows “The OC” and “Gossip Girl.”
Should we worry about that last factoid?
