Promo trailer for found footage horror flick Amber Alert

I have bad news for you if you were getting sick of the found footage shtick: It’s not going away anytime soon. Perhaps you suspected this already, but this weekend’s enormous box office gross for PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3 pretty much ensured it. Let the copycats keep on rollin’…

One flick hoping to capitalize on the craze is Kerry Bellessa’s AMBER ALERT, which is only now coming to light in the form of a promo trailer, which you can peep below. Apparently the film will be heavily touted at the upcoming American Film Market, where it will hope to get picked up for distribution.

The premise, on the surface at least, is very simple: When a group of friends decides to follow a car they’ve seen posted on an Amber Alert, things start to go very wrong.

Lest you think AMBER ALERT is some random shot in the dark, know that the flick is being represented at AFM by the William Morris Endeavor, one of the biggest talent agencies in Hollywood. Obviously they see something intriguing in the project… do you?
