First up we’ve got a figure for Alex Mercer from the recently released video game PROTOTYPE. Now I haven’t had a chance to try this game out but it’s not because of lack of interest. The thing looks pretty damn cool and I’ve heard nothing but good things but I just haven’t had the opportunity yet. What about you guys? The figure is of Alex Mercer, the star of this PROTOTYPE adventure and comes from NECA’s Player Select series. Alex stands at 7” tall and features his morphing bladed right arm and ball-jointed neck, shoulders, torso, and wrists, and comes in a collector-grade clamshell package. It’s available now at a very managable price tag of $12 so head RIGHT OVER HERE TO BUY IT!

We’ve seen countless collectibles featuring that smirking madman… from bloody figures to figures paying homage to classic scenes in the franchise to awesome statues… and they just keep turning them out!
Which brings me to today’s announcement: Mezco are gearing up to hit us with yet another Freddy Krueger figure! This one has been deemed Stylized NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET Freddy Krueger. And when I say ‘Stylized’ I’m talking stylized! Just scope out that shot of him above! That ghastly grin, glowing eyes and pointy knives… gotta love it!
This bad boy stands at 9” tall and sports 8 points of articulation along with a removable cloth sweater and hat, a scale Elm Street sign and the infamous tongue phone. He’s looking at a hefty price tag of $30 and can be pre-ordered RIGHT HERE! It’s set to ship November/December of this year.
