Afer blowing away the competition at the box office, PULSE is set to make its release to DVD December 5th.
DavisDVD reports that the film, which stars Kristen Bell, Christina Milian and Ian Somerhalder, will head to DVD in a never-before-seen 90 minute unrated cut and in the separate 87 minute PG-13 theatrical cut. The unrated DVD will sport a 2.35:1 anamorphic transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track (the PG-13 cut will be fullscreen only). Extras include a commentary track with the filmmakers, deleted scenes, “Creating The Fear: Making Pulse,” “The Visual Effects Of Pulse” and “Pulse And The Paranormal” featurettes.
Unfortunately, no word on if there’s an extra that explains why the film sucked, but that’s another story. Retail is $29.95. Hey, the film has to make back its money somehow…
