PUNISHER: WAR ZONE director Lexi Alexander updated her blog this week and revealed a few new images from the film – though the above image is the only one where you can really see what’s going on; however, the other two images showcase Alexander’s visuals and gives a great glimpse into the look and feel of what is to be expected in this third go-round of THE PUNISHER series.
While it’s difficult to say at this point, I’m thinking Ray Stevenson is looking a few degrees more badass than Thomas Jane did in his portrayal, and right up there with Dolph Lundgren when he gave THE PUNISHER a try. One thing’s for sure – this new photo has be pumped for what’s to come!
Alexander also updated her blog in terms of content – including what comic illustrator Tim Bradstreet had to say upon viewing a few stills from WAR ZONE. What he had to say should also excite you…
I had an opportunity to see a ton of stills from the film and it looks sensational. The Jigsaw makeup is top. LOVED seeing Doug Hutchinson look like such a hard assed nut, and of course, Ray Stevenson looks AWESOME. They lit a lot of it like I light and [they] did a great job.
Praise like that just for the visuals? Like I said, this beast is gearing towards becoming the ultimate PUNISHER film! Go ahead and click HERE to check out rest of Alexander’s blog (and those other two images), and get pumped for PUNISHER: WAR ZONE in theaters everywhere September 12th, 2008.
