Wow. This looks so fun, it makes me sad that it’s
full running time is only 17 minutes long.
What I’m talking about is the latest Danish short
from director Tor Fruegaard, which features puppet cowboys. Who fight zombies.
And there’s plenty of blood and gore to go around!
If you click
here
you can check out a sweet ass trailer for the film IT CAME FROM THE
WEST, the film that claims to be the first ever hand-puppet, animated zombie
western. (A title that I’m sure it’ll have no problem defending!)
Its about a guy named
Virgil who lives in a saloon in the wild west.
Nobody takes him serious, neither his father or the two cowboys Eddie and Hank.
One day the saloon is attacked by zombies. Will Virgil ever prove to be anything
but a whimp? And who’s the Dark Butcher?
The thing looks great, and while the official
site
here says
there isn’t a full English version yet, they are working on one for the near
future. So make sure to check out the trailer
here
and check back to AITH periodically for more IT CAME FROM THE WEST
updates.
