Well I said we’d show you the quality version when it hit the net, so here it is. You can scope out the quality CORALINE teaser trailer below. It’s in 3-D, and we obviously lack the glasses, but it’s still a pretty cool teaser.
I love THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, so I’m definately looking forward to CORALINE, especially with the interesting synopsis: Coraline Jones is bored and unhappy in her new home with its strange neighbors both upstairs and down. Then she discovers a secret door to a better version of her life, a world created by her Other Mother to delight and entertain her and fill her with delicious meals. There’s just one “small thing” she’ll need to do if she wants to stay in this magical place forever.
CORALINE is coming from NIGHTMARE director Henry Selick, who also adapted the script from Neil Gaiman’s children’s novel. The film stars the voice talent of Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher (below), Ian McShane, Keith David, and Jennifer Saunders.
Right now the release date is set for a little less than a year from now on February 6, 2009. We’ll keep you updated.
