Blackfilm has revealed that casting is already going down on the remake of [Rec], QUARANTINE. Jay Hernandez, Jennifer Carpenter, Steve Harris, Jonathan Schaech and Columbus Short are all going to be running around for directors John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle, the duo behind THE POUGHKEEPSIE TAPES.
QUARANTINE is about a camera operator, a journalist, a fireman and a cop trapped inside an apartment building after a deadly strain of rabies breaks out in the city of Los Angeles. [Rec] hasn’t even hit theaters yet, but it’s apparently so nice, they made it twice.
