Rachael Leigh Cook & other hotties join the cast of Vampire

Well VAMPIRE just became one of my most anticipated genre flicks. For good reason too! Just wait until you finish this article! I bet VAMPIRE will be on your must-see list as well!

First let me school you all on what VAMPIRE is exactly. Actually… truth be told we don’t know a whole lot about VAMPIRE just yet. What we do know is that Japanese director Iwai Shunji will be making his English language debut with the feature. We’ve also got somewhat of a synopis for you all to check out:

VAMPIRE follows a schoolteacher with a taste for human blood, who searches for suicidal young women as his victims; all of whom he falls in love with before their deaths.

Simple enough. Now let’s get to this awesome cast! The guys over at ScreenDaily dropped word on a list of names joining the cast of VAMPIRE, most of which are smoking hotties! Ready for the goods? Rachael Leigh Cook (above/below), Keisha Castle-Hughes (below), Kristin Kreuk (below), Adelaide Clemens and Trevor Morgan have all signed on for VAMPIRE! They join star Kevin Zegers, Amanda Plummer and Japanese actress Yu Aoi.

Rachael Leigh Cook… Keisha Castle-Hughes… and Kristin Kreuk… ? Well I’m completely sold. I have a feeling VAMPIRE is going to be one vicious vampire flick too… or maybe that’s just some wishful thinking on my part? I’m not really familiar with Shunji’s work in Japan but my gut is telling me the guy knows what he’s doing.

Anyone out there actually familiar with Shunji? Is VAMPIRE right down his alley? And what about this smoking hot cast?! Am I the only one with my jaw on the floor?
