So a couple months ago we reported an updated plot synopsis (replete with awful poster) for RAMBO V, one in which pitted our boy Sly with an odious looking genetically engineered man-beast. And we all had a good laugh.
Well, according to someone in the know over at StalloneZone (Craig, to be thorough), it appears Sly and company are reverting to the plotline the film originally boasted, mainly the exploits regarding missing women (sex trade perhaps?).
Even more specific, and from the man himself (and I do mean The Man), Sly issues:
“I’m letting you know that Rambo has changed course and the story about hunting the man/beast will be done using another character in the lead. RAMBO himself will be heading over the border to a violent city where many young women have vanished.”
“There will be blood.”
And there it is! I don’t know how you all feel, but I’m glad to see Sly come to his senses and looks to avoid the rote PREDATOR formula RAMBO V looked to follow.
