A ways back, I gave you guys a sniff of the gore-filled, whacked-out B-movie-fest RAT SCRATCH FEVER. The article came complete with RAT’s trailer and today, I’d like to call your attention to a heaping mess of crazy yucky new pics from the flick. If the image up top turns your stomach, I do apologize. I just wanted to choose a pic that best exemplifies what RAT SCRATCH is going for. If I ever showed the Mrs. that pic, she’d probably divorce me: which means it’s ideal for AITH.
I also took the liberty of posting a nice close-up of the red-eyed creepy-crawlin’ attackers of the flick. They appear to be sufficiently menacing enough for a genre offering of this nature. Here’s a big ol’ slice of the cheesy plot: The mousy madness begins when astronaut Sonja travels with a team to a distant planet in search of life. The private firm that finances her mission is the Steel Space Corporation, founded by Dr. Steel. When Sonja’s mission goes awry after being attacked by giant rats from another planet, her ex-marine boyfriend, Jake, has to race against time to save her from Doctor Steel.
How can you go wrong with a character named Dr. Steel and f*cked-up mice from beyond the moon? Jeff Leroy is the mastermind filmmaker behind all the bone-headed brei. The cast is made up of Tasha Tacosa, Randal Malone (THE CURSE OF LIZZIE BORDEN), Ford Austin, Eric Flenner, Phoebe Dollar and filmmakers Jeff Burr and Vincent Bilancio. RAT SCRATCH is looking to get out some time in 2009.
