Ray joins Motorcade

See, now this sounds like it could be a really cool thriller. In what sounds like it could be shot in real-time, 24 style, MOTORCADE is about terrorists attacking the President’s motorcade as it meanders through LA. Wait a second, that’s identical to an episode of 24, season 5. What doesn’t bode well for this film is that the script is currently being rewritten. But what does bode well for it is that Billy Ray is taking a crack at it. While he rewrote such mainstream gumbo as VOLCANO and FLIGHTPLAN, he’s also the man who made the tight thrillers SHATTERED GLASS and BREACH. Hopefully his work on MOTORCADE will veer towards the latter.
