Alright people, before you get all up in arms let me tell you all that this is not an article about the fourth installment to the URBAN LEGEND franchise. Yes, go ahead and breath that sigh of relief. Though I’ve got to admit, I really dug the first two flicks. Sue me. Anyway the flick I’m here to tell you about today is it’s own ‘urban legend’ flick called SPARROW.
The details that are coming in from CastingCallPro include some of the cast as well as a nifty synopsis. Scope it out:
Six teenage friends take a camping trip to a forest which is the site of a presumed historic murder. But their disbelief in this urban legend is soon changed when strange happenings begin to occur to each of them…….as well as other campers who are fortunate enough to spend the night there…
SPARROW is coming from producer Wojciech Stuchlik and stars Sarah Linda, Alexis Jayne Defoe, Nikki Harrup, Jack Carter, Jordan Greenhough and Dane Brookes as ‘Ranger Sparrow.’ I think it’s safe to assume that dude will have a lot to do with the movie…
So what do you guys think? Sounds like another cheap ‘slasher-in-the-woods’ to me. Then again some of those cheap slashers are pretty fun so we’ll hold out judgement on this one. That’s all we’ve got right now but as soon as we hear more on SPARROW we’ll pass the good word along to all of you!
