Maybe I’m not cool enough to know that they actually make posters for upcoming TV shows. Or maybe I’ve always known… and just haven’t cared. Let’s see… bus stops… billboards… subways… not sure where else TV posters show their ugly little heads, but apparently they’re all the rage these days.
Case in point is the above poster for the new CW’s comedic horror show known as REAPER. You know it’s comedy because they all have smirks, and you know it’s horror because… there’s fire. Their hair is on fire. You’d think, if you’re hair was on fire, you wouldn’t be smirking… then again, this is a horror comedy, so you know, it’s funny.
The show stars Bret Harrison, Ray Wise, and Missy Peregrym, with it’s pilot episode directed by the one and only Kevin Smith. I’ll check that out just for Smith, and who knows… maybe this will be the show to watch this season. Or maybe not. Either way, look out for REAPER on the new CW Tuesdays this fall. Now who wants more of Missy?
